Merry Christmas to All!

A day ahead of all of you in North America, it’s Christmas Eve here and the halfway point of our mission. It’s been rather difficult to feel as if it’s really Christmas this year without our family, friends, cold weather, or dark evenings. And the Christmas sales on the TV ads here feature things like garden supplies and chilly-bins (picnic coolers)!

16 tomatoes on our vines and counting!
Bob on Christmas Eve: shorts, barefoot, with the hibiscus blooms.

It really makes us realize anew how much all of you mean to the really important times in life, and we wish you all every joy of the season. One of the great benefits of serving a mission is growing closer to our Savior, and appreciating even more His birth and the joy of living His gospel. Each day we experience something of spiritual significance, and not a day goes by where we don’t see some great blessing.
