BRRRRRR!

We've had the coldest temperatures ever measured here this week, with once-a-lifetime snow in Auckland--which we ourselves didn't see 5 minutes north here in Takapuna. Actually cold weather here is pretty difficult because there is no central heating and no insulation in the houses. Windows are single-pane with daylight showing in around the frames. So 36 degrees outside is 36 degrees inside.
